Robert M. Sheffey

Director of Engineering

Prior to joining Sage Road Capital, Mr. Sheffey was Vice President of Operations and Engineering for Redman Management Company, a Houston, Texas-based operator of oil and gas properties. At Redman, Mr. Sheffey had chief responsibility for oversight and execution of operating strategy for portfolio companies. While at Redman, Mr. Sheffey was part of the senior management team that oversaw the turnaround of Prize Petroleum, LLC.

Prior to Redman, Mr. Sheffey was a Vice President at NGP Capital Resources Company, where he was responsible for evaluatons of potential portfolio company investments in the oil and gas industry. Prior to NGP, Mr. Sheffey was an operations and reservoir engineer with Hilcorp Energy Company. At Hilcorp, Mr. Sheffey had numerous roles including rotations with the Acquisitions and Divestitures group and the West Louisiana and Texas asset teams.

Mr. Sheffey holds a B.S. from the University of Texas in Petroleum Engineering. He lives in Houston, Texas with his wife and four children.
